Licensed Clinicians
Elena Rivera, Psy.D., BCBA
Licensed Psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
Dr. Rivera leads HBPS’s diagnostic services with expertise in psychological and behavioral evaluations. Her specialties include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and executive functioning assessments, psychoeducational testing, and mood and personality evaluations. She integrates standardized assessment tools and clinical interpretation to support accurate diagnostic clarity and practical recommendations for home, school, and treatment planning.

Soñia Valadez, M.S.,CCC-SLP
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Soñia is a bilingual speech-language pathologist at HBPS who works with children and adolescents. She holds a Master of Science degree and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and focuses on communication, voice, fluency, and other speech-language concerns that can affect learning and school success.
Mary Askew, OTR/L
Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist
Mary is an occupational therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and she focuses on ALs, fine motor, and sensory processing skill development, and other concerns that may impact successful learning in the school setting.

Chris (Office Manager)
Chris oversees operational coordination and client communication to support a seamless experience from scheduling through reporting.
Chloe (Office Assistant & Behavior Technician)
Ms. Chloe, our office assistant and behavior technician. She is always ready to provide prompt and satisfactory solutions to any inquiries. Chloe is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Arizona State University. During her time off, she enjoys reading and crocheting.
Kiana (Behavior Technician)
Ms. Kiana, is one of our behavior technicians. She holds a Law & Pubic Safety certificate from West-Mec. Her training includes de-escalation, first aid/CPR, and more. Kiana is in her sophomore year of college at ASU.
