ADHD and Executive Functioning Evaluations
Assessment of attention, impulsivity, organization, working memory, and emotional regulation to clarify executive functioning concerns, as well as the relevance of diagnoses such as ODD, ADHD, and IED.
Gifted Testing
Gifted identification evaluations aligned with Arizona Department of Education guidance, using standardized measures and parent input to develop an intellectual profile.
Mood and Personality
Clinical interview and standardized measures to assess emotional functioning and help clarify concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Speech and Language
Our speech and language evaluations assess communication skills, including speaking, listening, and social interaction. It includes various formal and informal assessments to measure how well the child understands and uses words, forms sentences, and communicates for different purposes. The evaluation may also consider one’s ability to pronounce speech sounds, produce speech physically, and maintain smooth speech flow. This service is offered in English and Spanish by our bilingual speech therapists.
Functional Assessments
Functional assessments of fine motor and sensory processing are completed by an Occupational Therapist. The areas assessed depend on the patient’s needs. The evaluation might involve testing muscle strength, coordination, reflexes, movement, and sensory input, as well as processing.

Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA)
An FBA is a systematic process used to understand the function of challenging behavior and the skill gaps that may maintain it. Results guide targeted, practical intervention strategies.
Autism screeners
Autism screeners provide a brief assessment of social communication functioning and stereotyped behaviors typically associated with autism spectrum disorders.
This may be completed through direct or indirect observations. The results will indicate whether more in-depth assessments may be necessary.
